Adrienne Piazza

Profile

Adrienne Piazza joined the Bonner Center for Civic Engagement in May 2007.

Prior to moving to Richmond, Piazza studied and worked in Washington, D.C. After graduating from Georgetown University with a BS in Business Administration focusing on manangement, Piazza worked for the University’s Department of Public Safety. While in graduate school at The George Washington University for an M.Ed. in education policy, Piazza worked in the Office of Community Service as an Associate Site Manager for Jumpstart-DC, a nonprofit organization that pairs college students with at-risk preschool children in a mentoring relationship aimed at achieving school success. While in D.C., Piazza also served on the Alumni Board of LIFT Communities.

Piazza manages PACE: Pathways to a College Experience, alternative breaks, and the Urban Education Fellows program. Additionally, she works closely with individual students, staff, and student organizations who wish to engage with the City in one-time, short-term, or on-going service. Piazza oversees the CCE’s educational programming and events and serves as an advisor for RVAGOV.

Piazza is also a member of the American College Personnel Association (ACPA).
