Dr. Deane graduated from Westhampton College of the University of Richmond. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University (MCV/VCU). She completed her Family Practice Residency at MCV/VCU’s Riverside Family Practice Program and served as Chief Resident. She is Board Certified in Family Practice.
Dr. Deane is active in local and state medical societies, including the Richmond Academy of Medicine and the Virginia Academy of Family Practice, having served in leadership positions. She is a long-standing member of the American College Health Association. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Population Health at VCU School of Medicine, teaching and mentoring medical students.
As native Virginians, Dr. Deane and her family have a passion for Old Dominion history. They also enjoy almost any outdoor activity and plan to visit all 58 US National Parks.
